Description:You will be the F-22 LO Technician/Aircraft Sheetmetal for the Aircraft Maintenance Team which is responsible for supporting the F‑22 modification, repair, overhaul, and low‑observable aircraft production line at Tyndall AFB, Florida.

What You Will Be Doing
As the F-22 LO Technician/Aircraft Sheetmetal you will be responsible for applying and maintaining low‑observable technology coatings on aircraft parts and assemblies while ensuring strict adherence to engineering specifications and safety standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Interpret engineering and manufacturing process specifications and plan coating sequences.

- Prepare surfaces, mix and apply coatings to exact tolerances, and achieve required thicknesses and textures.

- Test and measure coatings on parts and coupons to verify compliance with drawings and specifications.
Perform structural repairs—drilling, cutting, countersinking, and fastening—on aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, Kevlar, and composite materials.

- Uphold safety protocols, Hazmat handling, FOD prevention, and tool‑control discipline.

You are a safety‑conscious, detail‑driven professional with strong shop‑math skills and hands‑on experience with specialty fasteners and a variety of structural materials. You thrive in diverse teams, communicate clearly, and consistently uphold the highest standards of quality and security.

Further Information About This Opportunity
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must have at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance and be able to obtain a Final Secret.

Physical Requirements:
This position may include certain required health screenings and immunizations. Position may also require extended work hours. Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist. Confined Space Entry.
Basic Qualifications:
Have a minimum of 2 years of low observable coating experience, able to work in confined spaces and able to be respirator qualified.

Experienced on structural tooling such as rivet guns, rivet sets, drills, huck guns, shears, paint guns and rigs.

Experienced in the use of micrometers, calipers and measuring gauges as well as all common tooling.

Ability to properly grip fastener holes to determine size, length and style of required fasteners
Desired Skills:
5th Generation Aircraft Sheetmetal and Low Observable exp. Have basic knowledge of paint guns, rivet guns, hucks, blind rivets and experience working with composite material for repairs.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
