Lockheed Martin is looking for a System Administrator to work with a team of Network and Communications Administrators to operate and maintain a dual-stack (IPv4 and IPv6) network located at Vandenberg Space Force Base. Other duties include:

Network management components include virtual servers running VMWare that host Windows and Linux servers.
Management services provide network management, network performance monitoring, element management, cyber security analytics, network route analytics, intrusion detection, anti-virus, user authentication, domain name system, software updates, time synchronization, backup, and recovery.
Monitored network transport components include routers, switches, firewalls, microwave systems, and circuit over packet devices.
Basic Qualifications:
- Technical bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.

- Windows Server or Red Hat Linux system
administration experience

Desired Skills:
- Experience with VMWare, Windows Server, Red
Hat Linux, and WhatsUp Gold network
management software.

- Experience with LogRhythm Security
Information and Event Management (SIEM)
software.

- Experience with McAfee Endpoint Security
Solution.

- Experience managing SQL databases.

- Knowledge Public Key Infrastructure.

- Experience working with Microsoft Word and
Excel.

- Prior experience executing System
Administration of a DoD system as well as
accreditation and certification of a DoD system.

- Security+ certification

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $64,400 - $123,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $74,000 - $139,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
