You will be the Configuration & Data Management (CM/DM) Specialist for the Contracts & Data Integration team. Our team ensures that all contract driven data—CDRLs, SDRLs, and related documentation—is accurately captured, tracked, and delivered on schedule, supporting mission critical programs and customer commitments.

What You Will Be Doing

As the CM/DM Specialist you will be responsible for end to end data management activities across multiple contracts. You’ll work closely with program staff, subcontractors, and customers to guarantee that every data deliverable meets contractual requirements and is ready for review, approval, and archival.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Schedule, track, and submit Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) in accordance with contract terms.
• Create, maintain, and update data entries in the program’s DM database.
• Prepare and deliver weekly program briefings; present status updates at staff meetings.
• Coordinate with internal departments, subcontractors, and customers to ensure timely, compliant data submittals.
• Manage Subcontractor Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs)—schedule, monitor, and verify completion.
• Preserve both electronic and hard copy records; assemble data packages for archival and retrieve archived records as needed.
• Draft, revise, and publish work instructions and standard operating procedures for data handling.
• Review contract documents and Statements of Work; develop cost estimates for Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
• Support change request testing against the DM databases to validate impact and integrity.
• Obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Further Information About This Opportunity:
This position is in Orlando, FL.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess a Final Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Active Secret Clearance
• Working knowledge of data management tools and methods for tracking deliverables from/to customer and from/to sub-contractors
• Experienced in DOD and Commercial Configuration Management practices and knowledge of EIA-649, National Consensus Standard for Configuration Management and experience implementing and conducting a Configuration Management program per MIL-HDBK-61(A), Configuration Management Guidance
• Experience with electronic data vaulting and digital data handling and an understanding of the ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) and ANSI (American National Standards Institute) Y14 drafting, drawing and documentation standards
• Working knowledge of hardware and software configuration management and version control tools and methods
• Comprehensive understanding and experience with DoD Government contracts
Desired Skills:
• Experience with 1LMX Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)transition activities
• Proven ability to apply corporate standardization in processing CDRLs/SDRLs in accordance with the Contract SOW, 1423s, and DD250s, and in accordance with the applicable Industry Standards.
• Ability to ensure that customer requirements are implemented and reviews change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
