Description:This position is in the AMMM Systems Engineering Organization, Configuration Management. The Primary position will represent C-130 Configuration Management on the flight line to support Configuration Status Accounting. The candidate will work with representatives from engineering, quality, Flight Line Production support, and manufacturing to maintain accurate configuration management records for the C-130J program. In addition, the candidate will work closely with others in the CM group to support the Electronic Change Request System (ECRS), Change Management and CSA tools on the program by ensuring processes are understood and followed, maintaining closed loop records in the CSA tool, and maintaining configuration status accounting records for the C-130J program. Additionally, knowledge of the Enterprise Data Collaborative System (EDCS) Data Management tool and experience with Data Management submittals to various customers is a plus.

Some Weekend Work

You will be the C130 Aircraft Maintenance & Manufacturing Support Engineer - Level 2 for the AMMM Systems Engineering Organization, Configuration Management which is responsible for maintaining accurate configuration management records and supporting change processes for the C‑130J program.

What You Will Be Doing
As the C130 Aircraft Maintenance & Manufacturing Support Engineer - Level 2 you will be responsible for ensuring configuration integrity on the flight line and driving reliable data flow across engineering, quality, production, and manufacturing teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Representing C‑130 Configuration Management on the flight line to support Configuration Status Accounting.
- Collaborating with engineering, quality, flight‑line production, and manufacturing to maintain accurate configuration records.
- Supporting the Electronic Change Request System (ECRS) and Change Management processes, ensuring compliance and closed‑loop records.
- Maintaining configuration status accounting and CSA tool data for the C‑130J program.
- Utilizing the Enterprise Data Collaborative System (EDCS) for data management and customer submittals (preferred).

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor or Above Technical Degree in a Technical Discipline from an accredited university or equivalent experience/combined education.

• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

Physical Requirements

• Must physically be able to climb ladders

• Lift 30 lbs above head (opening side doors and lifting DTADS into overhead compartment)

• Must be able to work in small-confined spaces

• Will be required to operate an electric lift
Desired Skills:
• Experience with US Government and/or Foreign Military Customer Operational Sites

• Some C-130J or cargo aircraft maintenance experience

• Flight line Experience

• Experience with Configuration Status Accounting processes/tools

• Experience with Quality and/or Manufacturing systems

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Learn quickly and work independently in a fast-paced business tempo environment

• Experience with developing process improvements, communications with other departments for problem resolution

• Work and communicate well in a team environment

• Experience with computer software programs and tools to include MS Office.

• A&P License

• Quality and/or Inspection experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
