Job Responsibilities

At Lockheed Martin Aeronautics we are searching for an Estimating / Quoting Senior) in Marietta, GA,
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Main Point of Contact for generating quotes for AMMM Planning organizations.
• Generate quotes for Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), ROMs (Rough Order of Magnitude) for new business, and ad hoc quotes as required. Analyze Statements of Work and coordinate all quoting efforts with Engineering, Pricing and Estimating, and all Planning organizations.
• Generate BOEs (Basis of Estimate) in the APTS system for each contract. Participate in customer Cert Sweeps and Fact Finds. Organize and maintain the team workload spreadsheet.
• CAM (Control Account Manager) for AMMM Planning teams responsible for managing multiple DFARs and non-DFARs contracts.
• Spread/re-spread Planning budgets for multiple programs per Planning work packages.
• Work with Business Management to create EACs for all contracts twice per year.
• Manage all control accounts using EVMS principles, and participate in the monthly EVMS rhythm providing variance analysis and percent complete for performance.
• Ensure that each contract IMS (Integrated Master Schedule) accurately reflects Planning effort.
• Establish methodology and request labor I/Os to accurately record labor for each contract.
• Work with team members to ensure correct labor charging. Write/sign BLCRs (Baseline Change Requests) when required.
• Enter job status in the Planning Access Database. Gather data and produce monthly metrics.

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in Pricing and Estimating, Proposal efforts and/or Earned Value Management (CAM).
- Experience interfacing with Engineering, Planning and Production Operations to quantify, validate and coordinate requirements.
- Experience using Microsoft applications and products.
Desired Skills:
- Previous experience in Pricing and Estimating, Proposal efforts and Earned Value Management (CAM) are a definite plus.
- Competent in use of Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Proven leadership
- Good oral/written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to complete all training required to work within the IT systems necessary to complete Proposal and EV activity.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
