Job Responsibilities
Description:You will be the Quality Inspector for our Q&MS function in the Lufkin, TX facility. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of our products, and you will play a key role in inspecting in-process and completed products to meet our high standards.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Inspector, you will use your attention to detail to inspect products such as electronic units, precision electromechanical assemblies, and mechanical units. You will utilize various measuring devices and work from blueprints, diagrams, and customer specifications to ensure products meet our quality requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Inspecting in-process and completed products for defects, flaws, and missing components
-Using measuring devices such as dial indicators, preset micrometers, and scales to verify product specifications
-Accepting, rejecting, or reworking defective or malfunctioning units or systems
-Generating Q-notes for all defects and supporting stock purges, floor audits, and other quality system tasks
-Monitoring and verifying quality in accordance with statistical process control procedures

Basic Qualifications:
-Proficient in computer skills, concise verbal and written communication, and have willingness to learn
-Familiarity with SAP or other related systems
-Experience with circuit card assembly, mechanical and wire harness assembly or similar processes
Desired Skills:
-Inspection of hardware produced to J-STD-001

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
