Description:The Aero PECS organization is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer (ME) to join the Planning Central Services team. This critical role will focus on elevating Manufacturing Planning excellence across Aero sites by developing and delivering comprehensive training materials and training sessions to ME Planners.

Primary Responsibilities:

Create, standardize, and deliver training materials tailored for ME Planners across all Aero sites.

Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions to support planner onboarding and upskilling efforts.

Collaborate with stakeholders to assess training needs and continuously improve materials based on evolving requirements and feedback.

Secondary Responsibilities:

Gain in-depth understanding of SAP functionality as it relates to Planning processes.

Progress toward becoming an SAP Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting Aero Planning initiatives and optimization.

This individual will:
• Create playbooks, job guides, and training to support the Planning best practices and lessons learned across the enterprise.
• Conduct Planner training at various Aero sites.
• Manage the Training Assist budget for Planning.
• Play a key role in helping Planning teams across the Aero Enterprise for programs currently in production (F35, F16, C130 and F22 sustainment).

This is an opportunity for an individual to become a Planning and SAP Subject Matter Expert. He/she will gain a wholistic view of Aeronautics Planning processes. He/she will be able to help shape the future of the Planning function by creating and improving existing Planning training and job guides. It’s an opportunity to work with other Aero functions and sites and an opportunity to build your Aero network.

This individual should be:
• Detailed oriented and organized.
• Able to work independently or as a team.
• Comfortable building relationships with employees in other Planning organizations and in other functions.
• Comfortable delivering training to large and small groups.

While the Planning Central Services team is primarily located in Ft. Worth, this position can be based in Palmdale, Marietta, or Greenville.

The role is 100% onsite to support hands-on training, collaboration, and system integration needs.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience working in or directly supporting the Manufacturing Engineering Planning function.

• Understanding of principles related to creating/maintaining Manufacturing Bills of Material and work instructions.

• Understanding of ME Planning Roles and Responsibilities.

• Ability to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance per business requirements.

• Interim Clearance required prior to start
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 5+ years of experience
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with CAPP/SFM.
• Experience creating and/or delivering training to end-users.
• Experience writing job guides/command media.
• Experience with SAP.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $78,500 - $150,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $90,200 - $170,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
