We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer Sr. to support the integration between the System Security Engineering team and the Reentry
System Program team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless integration of security engineering principles and
practices into the reentry system design, development, and operation. This position requires a strong understanding of system security engineering,
reentry system development, and program management.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Reentry SSE Integrated project team (IPT) lead as the SSE integration lead for a specific program
Facilitate integration between the System Security Engineering team, the Reentry System Program team, and the customer; ensuring
effective communication and collaboration
Integrate system security engineering requirements, including Hardware Assurance, Software Assurance, Cyber Security, Asymmetric Threat
Vulnerability Management, Supply Chain Risk management, Nuclear Surety, and System Security Engineering requirements, into the reentry
system design and development
Work with the Reentry System Program team facilitate identification of critical program information and ensure that security engineering
requirements are properly addressed
Work with the System Security Engineering team to develop, verify, and validate security engineering requirements throughout the systems
engineering lifecycle for each reentry program
Ensure that security engineering principles and practices are applied throughout the reentry system lifecycle, including design, development,
testing, and operation
Monitor the status, risks, needs, and priority of system security engineering tasks for all Reentry Programs
Support development and maintenance of the Reentry System Security Engineering Program Plan and specific reentry Program annexes that
identify the System Security Engineering products and processes required for each reentry program
Work with operations and manufacturing teams to ensure that security engineering requirements are properly addressed during system
operation and maintenance
Support supplier management activities to ensure that the program teams are properly making suppliers are aware of and comply with
security engineering requirements where required
Develop and maintain a plan for SSE activities on the Reentry SEIT team wit
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in systems engineering, security engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with at least one of the following system security engineering principles and practices, including Hardware Assurance, Software
Assurance, Cyber Security, Nuclear Surety, and Supply Chain Risk management
• Familiarity with at least one of the following system security engineering integration processes: requirements development, Requirements Traceability and Verification Matrix (RTVM) Development, verification, or validation
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance
• Experience with Agile (i.e., Jira and Confluence) or Project Planning
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, cybersecurity, or related field
• Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, cybersecurity, or related field
• Experience with at least one of the following system security engineering integration processes: requirements development, Requirements Traceability and Verification Matrix (RTVM) Development, verification, or validation
• Understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, development, testing, and operation
• Knowledge of asymmetric threat vulnerability management and nuclear surety principles and practices
• Familiarity or experience with Cyber Security package development for IATTs and ATOs
• Familiarity or experience with program management principles and practices, including earned value management and risk management
• Familiarity or experience generating Basis-Of Estimates (BOEs) and providing proposal support
• Familiarity or experience with supply chain risk management
• Experience with working in a multi-disciplined IPT
• Familiarity with the LM FBM, LM Space, and/or other Business Area (BA) Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP)
• Experience developing products during the Requirements definition phase of the systems engineering lifecycle (i.e., Concept of Operations
(CONOPS), requirements document, trade studies/evaluations, etc.)
• Participation in Structured Improvement Activities (SIA) or similar continuous improvement events
• FBM Program Knowledge and experience working with US Navy
• Lean Six Sigma Certified Greenbelt
• Active Top Secret Clearance
• Has demonstrated success as a "change agent" able to facilitate cultural adoption of new processes, tools, and approaches
• Familiarity with MBSE/SysML (i.e., Cameo, MagicDraw) and experience reviewing MBSE/SysML models
• Positive demeanor, accountable and responsible and able to work in a team-focused, dynamic environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
