Lockheed Martin is looking for an experienced security professional to support an emerging program on the Advanced Development Programs (ADP), Enduring Program’s branch inside the Security & Emergency Services (SES) organization. Seeking a skilled and motivated Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) with strong Special Access Program (SAP) understanding and experience with an all-embracing knowledge to support Development, Production, and Sustainment activities and perform in the role for implementing, overseeing, and maintaining an enterprise security program. This position is located at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Palmdale, California.

The SES organization oversees the operations of classified facilities and ensures the implementation of operative security controls intended for the protection of unclassified, proprietary, and classified National Security Information (NSI) developed by or entrusted to Lockheed Martin as a member of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). The SES organization applies numerous resources to mitigate risk across operational domains through a variety of security administration standards, control strategies, and oversight levels that align with corporate requests and expectations.

The successful candidate will perform in a Special Access Program and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) environments to ensure successful execution of policy and procedures so that program performance aligns with published Department of Defense (DoD) instructions, Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) and manuals, Standard Operating Procedures, and local guidelines. Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

- Performs individual and team roles supporting all contractual security requirements for DOD Programs. Provide PERSEC support for Collateral, SCI, and SAP programs.

- Conduct security investigations, indoctrinations, debriefs, and visitor control.

- Maintain the fundamental security requirements defined by the customer/company and program.

- Maintain personnel security files for all cleared personnel.

- Maintain daily logs, tracking spreadsheets, and local databases for PERSEC activities.

- Prepare, process, and review Program Access Requests (PARs) for accuracy and access eligibility.

- Process Visit Authorization Requests (VARs) using DISS and/or JADE.

-Oversee security administration, management, and operations of SAP facilities at contractor locations.

-Develop, maintain positive rapport with the government/customer security teams.

-Enhance the overall program security posture by leading and participating in multi-site functions of Program Security.

-Successful candidate must be professional, capable of independent engagement, and possess the ability to collaborate with peers and customers to ensure adherence to regulations and guidelines.

-Successful candidate must be self-starter adept to independent decision-making, possess a high degree of individual initiative and organizational skills, and function with minimal supervision.

-Ensures projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

-Establish and maintain relationships with geographically dispersed internal and external customers.

-Apply business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues communicating observations and recommendations to leadership and enterprise business partners.

-Other tasks as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
1. Final transferable Top Secret Security clearance with an investigation current or CV date within 6 years.

2. Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access(es).

3. Experience providing security support in SAP environment.

4. Working knowledge of DoD 5205.07, ICD 705, and NISPOM.

5. Excellent written and oral communication skills.

6. Ability to multi-task and remain organized; proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.

7. Prior experience working with or implementing security plans for facilities and security operations.

8. Ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.

9. Prior leadership experience working in a classified environment.
Desired Skills:
1. Profound knowledge, understanding, and application of the NISPOM and DoD 5205.07 manuals

2. Center for Development of Security Excellence SPēD certification or credential.

3. Ability to manage large projects or processes that span outside of immediate job area.

4. Prior responsibility for making moderate to significant improvements to processes, systems, or products that enhanced performance of job areas.

5. The ability to multi-task and solve routine challenges.

6. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; can communicate with parties within and outside of own job function.

7. Able to deliver customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

8. Working knowledge/experience of DISS, JADE, Scattered Castles, ACCS, SIMS and SESIDS software.

9. Accessibility to be on call and be able to at times non-traditional work hours or odd shifts as required by program needs.

20. Experience with the accreditation process of a SAPFs to include new construction and associated Construction Security Plans (CSP).

11. Knowledge of the requirements supporting the development and maintenance of Risk Management Framework (RMF) environment, acquisition, and maintenance of an Authority to Operate (ATO), duties and responsibilities of the ISSM/ISSO position.

12. Experience hosting and managing large external customer meetings, overseeing responsibilities as a Top Secret Control Officer.

13. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
