This position is with Advanced Development Programs (ADP), known as the historic Skunk Works. We are looking for world-class talent for this position to join the 75+ year tradition of creating advanced aircraft and technology. The candidate will join an ADP effort as a System Administrator Field Service Representative (FSR) on the Air Base Air Defense System-Missile Defense (ABAD-MD) program.
The ABAD program was developed to provide Air Force air bases and other critical infrastructure with networked, resilient air-defense capability that can execute the full kill-chain against airborne threats. The system will deliver a tactical operational picture aligned with Joint Integrated Air and missile Defense (IAMD) and Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) theater capabilities, while providing point-defense through command and control of organic sensors and effectors.
This position requires frequent travel (over 50%) supporting short notice tasking to include potential worldwide locations. The incumbent must be a self-starter, ability to make timely decisions and willing to learn all facets of the ABAD system.
* Responsibilities could include, but are not limited to:
•Interacting with key stakeholders to ensure software integrates correctly with existing hardware.
•System/database/software/firewall/account maintenance and monitoring.
•Troubleshoot installation problems and perform all initial fixes for compatibility issues.
•Address technical assistance requests, providing support both onsite and remotely.
•Record troubleshooting procedures and solutions for future reference.
•Regular monitoring of systems/applications for availability and performance.
•Candidate will provide 50 hours per week of support.
•Candidate must attend 30-60 days of training in Fort Worth Texas.

Basic Qualifications:
•Candidates must have a Secret security clearance or higher with investigation within the last 5 years
•Completed DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA).
•IT experience of any combination in Windows/Linux, Database, Networking, or COMSEC
•The selected candidate may be required to work at deployed CONUS/OCONUS locations, support rotating shifts, and work over 50 hours per week—which may include weekends—as dictated by mission requirements.
•Must adhere to the REAL ID Act which establishes minimum security standards for state-issued driver’s licenses and identification cards.
•Must have valid passport with more than one year remaining on expiration.
•Travel 50% or more

•Experience Troubleshooting Applications
•Account Maintenance with Active Directory/Oracle/CRM
•Disaster recovery: backups and restores of physical servers, virtual machines, databases and network equipment
•Virtual Machine Management Service (Hyper-V / VMware)
•Maintaining/upgrading system hardware and startup/shutdown of rack components
•Applying updates, anti-virus/anti-spyware updates, and patch updates
•Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Administrator
•Importing/Exporting large data volumes

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
