Description:The Challenge:
It takes more than steel, advanced electronics and engine thrust to make the F-35 Lightning II, the world's fifth generation fighter, take flight. It is the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) that gives F-35 Lightning II operators the ability to plan, to maintain, to plan and sustain its systems over the life of the air vehicle. ALIS provides the IT backbone and capabilities to support current and future Warfighters across the U.S. and allied military services.

This is an expat position located in Singapore.

This Position is the F35 Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) Manager, leading a team of experienced Systems Administrators supporting the Royal Singapore Air Force at Changi East in Singapore. The team will consist of three or four ALIS Administrators to start.

Initially, the team will stand up and maintain the system and while familiarizing the customer with configuring, operating and maintaining the system. Eventually, the ALIS Team will be responsible to train in country Locally Cleared Nationals to provide support to the customer. The first two years, the positions will be located at Changi East, but eventually may move to a different location at Tengah Air Base. The ALIS Site Manager will also support the program as a Multifunctional Administrator and will act as the Lockheed Martin Site Lead until such time that the RSAF brings in a dedicated LM Site Lead.

Due to the expectation that the ALIS Site Lead will have a dep working knowledge of the system, only experienced ALIS Administrators will be considered for this role.

The assignment is a minimum of two years with the possibility of extending beyond that.

The incumbent must be a good communicator with strong leadership skills, a self-starter, have the ability to make timely decisions, and be willing to learn all facets of the ALIS System. This position will be part of the larger Interim Contractor Support (ICS) Administrator infrastructure at a new F-35 location.

You must:
• Be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Program clearance required for program access
• If called upon, be willing and able to travel for military deployments/detachments for extended periods of time dependent upon operational needs.
• Be capable of working various shift hours to include weekends to support customer mission requirements.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Acting as the team's interface between the ALIS program office and the RSAF on site customer
• Leadership tasks including but not limited to status reporting, team scheduling, team performance assessments, team training, talent planning, succession planning, and technical leadership
• Carrying out and sustaining system-wide backups, disaster recovery, and database support (status checks, Oracle critical patch updates)
• Conducting data transfers between systems (internal and external), provide user access to data, keep servers operational, configure assets to support user needs, and troubleshoot assets.
• Supporting testing, debugging, integration and analysis of database tools
• Interacting daily with users and acting as a Subject Matter Expert for the ALIS product suite
• Maintaining smooth, secure operation of multi-user computer systems through coordination across all administrative disciplines
• Explaining the system to the customer and assisting them in configuring the system for operations and resolving technical issues
• Maintaining the Security Posture of the System

Basic Qualifications:
The following qualifications must be met to be considered for this position:

• The candidate must be a present or former Lockheed Martin ALIS Administrator with at least three years of experience working as a Systems Administrator, a Database Administrator, a Network Administrator, and/or a Security Administrator,
• The candidate must have been either an ALIS Manager or an ALIS Technical Lead,
• The candidate must have achieved Craftsman Level on an ALIS Flexible Training plan in at least one role,
• A current Sec+ Accreditation (or equivalent), and
• The candidate must hold an approved F-35 Special Access Program Facility Access PAR.
Desired Skills:
The following skills and experience, while not required, are recommended:

• A working knowledge of the CPE or OCK,
• Experience working with a Sovereign Data Gateway or equivalent,
• Prior experience working as an expatriate,
• A demonstrable history of solving difficult problems related to ALIS/ODIN,
• Experience standing up or activating an F-35 Site.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
