You will be the Test Fleet Maintenance Field Technician for the M270A1/A2 HIMARS program in Grand Prairie, TX. Our team — the HIMARS Test Fleet — keeps the world class rocket artillery system operational, conducts rigorous field testing, and provides on site technical expertise to customers and partners.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Test Fleet Maintenance Field Technician you will deliver hands on technical support for the M270A1/A2 HIMARS platform. You’ll work directly with the test fleet, travel to key test sites, and act as Lockheed Martin’s trusted on site representative.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Isolating faults, diagnosing, and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on the HIMARS/M270A1/A2 platform.
• Maintaining deep, up to date knowledge of the HIMARS system, associated equipment, and any program modifications.
• Conducting technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements to meet specific customer specifications.
• Troubleshooting issues, determining solutions that align with product and customer requirements, and recommending actions to customers or internal teams.
• Assessing product needs against customer specifications and providing technical briefings and training to customers, vendors, and Lockheed Martin personnel.
• Serving as the local on site liaison for the customer organization, building strong, professional relationships.
• Representing Lockheed Martin with professionalism and a positive attitude at all times.
• Traveling as needed to support test fleet missions at locations such as White Sands, Redstone, and other designated sites.

Further Information About This Opportunity:
This position is in Grand Prairie, TX.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
HIMARS/M270A1 experience including associated equipment required to fault isolation,
diagnostics and repair
Must be willing to travel Excellent oral and written communication skills Good computer
skills to include Microsoft OƯice products and internet navigation capabilities Must be able
to establish and maintain a good working relationship with the customer.
Desired Skills:
Candidate should be a self-starter capable of performing assigned tasks with little or no direction and interface well with other Program disciplines.
Candidate should be an analytical thinker with a demonstrated ability of solving complex
Solve problems which require ingenuity and innovation.
The ideal candidate would be a prior service M270A1/HIMARS vehicle operator, maintainer or trainer with demonstrated leadership and teaching abilities Prior military experience
Must be able to obtain if needed a Secret Clearance and related background check
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
