Description:Are you ready to join a fast-paced, agile team which utilizes skills in logistics planning, critical thinking, problem solving, and customer support to ensure the on-time arrival of high-profile public event and project assets?

The ideal candidate for our Global Logistics Special Projects team will have experience working closely with freight forwarders, internal customers, and event venue contacts to ensure complex movements of unique equipment and event supplies reach global destinations on time in good condition. They will coordinate closely with the forwarder management team, US export control, US import control, and core traffic teams to ensure all movements and documentation meet strict compliance requirements and logistics provider guidelines. Timely communication and guidance among parties is critical to ensure smooth arrival into and departure from foreign locations. The ability to adapt plans to accommodate emergent challenges and gain internal/external stakeholder support ensures cohesive, collaborative solutions to ensure successful events.

What You Will Be Doing
• Serve as primary point of contact among Business Developoment, technical display owners, freight forwarders, and show organizers
• Review event schedules to maintain and monitor changes, rapidly adjusting tasks to meet deadlines
• Coordinate with Export and Import Control teams and Carnet management contacts to verify compliance requirements and sure necessary authorizations are in place
• Coordinate closely with core Traffic and international logistics provider management teams to ensure logistics providers and plans meet requirements
• Provide logistics planning support for events and trade shows
• Potential on-site support at various shows and events
• Coordinate high visibility show asset movements across the globe
• Establish and maintain communication among internal and external stakeholders throughout the event, from initial planning to final delivery of returned assets

Further Information About This Opportunity

Must be a US Citizen. This position will travel to locations that requires special access.

Must be able to travel internationally & domestically.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.
Basic Qualifications:
*Experience with domestic and international freight movement planning

*Basic understanding of importation and exportation

*Experience utilizing Microsoft Office products such as Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word
Desired Skills:
*Project Management experience

*Knowledge of Global export and import regulatory compliance requirements

*ITAR (international traffic in arms regulations)

*EAR (export administration regulations)

*Regulatory authorizations and carnets

*Self-motivated, proactive learner

*Experience utilizing SAP and GTS

*Experience scheduling and monitoring movements of military and non-military goods globally

*Experience with use and monitoring of carnets

*Experience monitoring freight forwarder performance and coordinating with adjacent teams for forwarder review and selection

*Experience monitoring and supporting shipment planning and status to meet delivery deadlines

*Strong verbal and written communication skills

*Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

*Ability to prioritize competing urgent tasks and adjust as circumstances change

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
