Job Responsibilities
Description:
You will be an Electrical Engineer for the PAC-3 missile program at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Dallas, Texas. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing advanced combat, missile, and rocket systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. As the Electrical Engineering Lead and Product Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting PAC-3 production contracts and ensuring the technical excellence of our products.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:
• Working closely with engineering lead in providing technical oversight and monitoring of a major subcontractor and related sub tier subcontractors.
• Ensuring timely resolution of technical issues related to PAC-3 missile electronics to support contractual delivery schedules
• Providing engineering support to Failure Review Board (FRB) and associated engineering evaluations
• Reviewing supplier proposed engineering changes, present those changes to LM Change board and take them through LM approval process
• Working in a collaborative IPT(Integrated Product Teams) environment and will be responsible for representing LM in several IPTs.
• The candidate should understand the concept of hardware obsolescence and communicate with the supplier to look ahead for obstacles to maintaining production levels.
• Driving technical excellence, affordability, and program execution by supporting program development, executing program requirements, and adhering to engineering development processes
• Travel to Lockheed Martin production facilities, supplier’s facilities, and customer facilities will be required.
• Some lab work on site at the Grand Prairie facility for hardware support will be required.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with troubleshooting Analog and Digital Electronics
• Working knowledge of lab equipments such as Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, DMM, signal Generators, spectrum analyzers
• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
• Ability to travel approx. 10% of time domestically.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
• DoD Secret or Top Secret.
• Prior experience of PAC-3 program, Production processes, Failure Investigation, Root Cause and Corrective Actions
• Experience with developing BOEs, reviewing suppliers’ BOEs.
• Certified or working knowledge of CAM
• Experience working with suppliers and leading suppliers during failure investigation
• Strong background in cross-discipline systems engineering practices including requirements development/maintenance, architecture, hardware/software design, integration and verification
• Experience in risk management and earned value management is desired.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
