This role is for a full time on-site System Administrator for the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Program Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) at the Lockheed Martin, USAF Plant 4 facility, in Fort Worth, TX.

The successful candidate must be able to obtain, and retain DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, or CCNA Security) within 6 months of hire.

The system Administrator is responsible for providing the overall on-site ALIS maintenance and support at the centralized Autonomic Logistics Operating Unit (ALOU) and serves as the primary point of contact for any customer questions or concerns.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following assigned tasks:
• Assisting with backups, restores, and disaster recovery of the system
• Hardware/system monitoring and performance tuning
• Server Stack upkeep/maintenance and data center cleaning
• Aiding in System/software/user maintenance and Maintaining system documentation
• Setting up administrator and service accounts
• Installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space
• Maintaining smooth, secure operation of multi-user computer systems through coordination with other administrative disciplines (security, database, network)

This is an operational support role; the selected candidate will be required to work different shifts. Must be available to work night, overnight, or weekend shift, and work over 40 hours per week as dictated by mission requirements. This position is initially offered as 1st shift, but assignment to 2nd and 3rd shift on a rotational basis will be expected.

Basic Qualifications:
System administration experience
Desired Skills:
Best candidates will hold an active DoD Secret clearance with a background investigation closure date within the last 6 years and be able to attain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access.

In addition to the requirements above, the successful candidate may have one or more of the following skills:
• Interpersonal skills to interact daily with users, acting as a liaison for the ALIS product suite
• Windows Server, RedHat, or Linux experience
• CompTIA Security+ Certification
• Show ability to maintain smooth, secure operation of multi-user computer systems through coordination with other administrative disciplines (security, database, network administration)
• Demonstrated system administration experience, which may include:
- Installing, configuring and troubleshooting Internet Protocol (IP) Switch Fabric architecture (e.g., Routing, Fail Over, etc.)
- Disaster recovery, backups, and restores of physical server hardware
- User account maintenance (Active Directory)
- Hardware/system monitoring of physical and virtual servers
- Maintaining/upgrading system hardware and startup/shutdown of rack components
- Applying operating system updates, anti-virus/anti spyware updates, and patch updates
- Troubleshooting Web Applications
- JBOSS (WildFly) Application Server Familiarity
- Understanding of network Open System Interconnection (OSI) Model Layers
- Working knowledge of Networked Attached Storage (NAS) systems and supported protocols
- Familiarity with Lockheed Martin products and processes, to include the JSF ALIS hardware and software
- Prior fighter aircraft maintenance experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
