Description:What You Will Be Doing:
Leadership Development Program Leader – Sustainment Operations
The Leader will shape and execute the early career Sustainment Operations Leadership Readiness (SOLR) program, the mid career Sustainment Leadership Program (SLP), and support Military Partnership Programs. This role also represents Sustainment Operations Services (SOS) on the Corporate Sustainment Council for employee development.
Key Responsibilities
• Program Strategy & Design – Define and evolve the SOLR/SLP strategy, curriculum, rotations, and performance metrics; ensure alignment with SOS objectives.
• Stakeholder Management – Brief senior leaders (SOS Steering Committee, Sustainment Leadership Council), create action plans, and report on success measures.
• Participant Coordination – Serve as primary liaison for SOLR, SLP, and Military Partnership participants; manage onboarding, coaching, rotations, and off program placements.
• Communication & Promotion – Drive awareness of SOLR/SLP goals and participation across Aero Sustainment; oversee all program communications and participant tracking.
• Event & Meeting Leadership – Plan monthly program meetings, annual kickoff/graduation, and special off site events; support Military Partnership events.
• HR Collaboration – Partner with HR on recruiting, demographic analysis, and alignment of talent pipelines with SOS strategy.
• Performance & Development – Ensure consistent performance ratings, promotions, and salary actions; manage Atlas Perform goals, reviews, and employee development plans.
• Alumni & Leadership Exposure – Engage the SOLR/SLP alumni network and facilitate participant interaction with senior business unit leaders.
Qualifications
• Strong business acumen and ability to build relationships with sustainment directors, managers, and cross business program managers.
• Proven experience in curriculum design, talent development, and workforce planning (VEMO).
• Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.

Basic Qualifications:
Holds Bachelor’s degree, preferably in HR, Business, Communications, or related discipline
Project management experience, ability to implement and evaluate the efficacy of programs and track the progress of initiatives
Experience presenting to executive-level management and experience interfacing with all levels of management
Demonstrated experience in leading employee engagement, coaching, retention, culture, and/or talent efforts
Ability to partner across organizations and collaborate with stakeholders at multiple levels
Desired Skills:
Fully engages and understands employee needs; champions the employee experience and facilitates process improvement
Ability to influence others
Ability to lead a team with agility
Knowledge and experience concerning organizational development/organizational effectiveness content areas: change management, organization and team effectiveness
Experience in developing and aligning the workforce learning function, capabilities, and initiatives across different cultures and operating environments
Prior experience interfacing with leadership across various functions and experience leading a team
Budget management
Ability to effectively work across multiple organizations, balancing priorities in a complex and fast-paced environment. Cross-functional Team Collaboration
Prior experience working with Leadership Development Programs (LDPs)
Event planning to include creating networking opportunities and program graduation ceremonies.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
