Description:What You Will Be Doing:
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Integrated Data Solutions (IDS) organization within the Sustainment Operations function located in Fort Worth, Texas. Reporting directly to the Director of Integrated Logistics and Engineering Services (ILES) under the Digital Sustainment & Analytics (DSA) organization, this senior leader will be responsible for shaping and executing the strategic vision for one of the corporation's largest sustainment data organizations, leading approximately 150 professionals across five management organizations.
The IDS organization serves as Sustainment’s hub for sustainment data engineering, analytics, forecasting, modeling, business intelligence, reporting, and digital data services supporting global F-35, IFG, AMMM, and ADP sustainment operations. This leader will be responsible not only for operational excellence across existing capabilities, but also for transforming the organization into a modern, AI-enabled digital enterprise through advanced data architectures, intelligent automation, scalable data governance, and next-generation analytics.
The successful candidate will possess exceptional strategic leadership, organizational transformation experience, technical depth across modern data ecosystems, and the ability to influence executive leadership while driving Sustainment’s enterprise-wide digital modernization initiatives supporting billions of dollars in annual sustainment operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the Sustainment enterprise roadmap for next-generation Integrated Data Solutions, aligning investments, technology modernization, workforce capabilities, and digital transformation initiatives with long-term business strategy.
Lead IDS adoption of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, intelligent automation, streaming analytics, cloud-native services, event-driven architectures, and advanced visualization technologies to fundamentally transform sustainment operations.
Build and sustain a world-class technical workforce by developing leaders, strengthening technical depth, advancing career development, and fostering innovation across the organization.
Establish a culture of experimentation, continuous innovation, rapid prototyping, and technology incubation while maintaining disciplined execution of operational commitments.
Ensure IDS contractual deliverables are on time while meeting the highest quality standards and support Aero’s long range plan.
Lead development of modern enterprise data platforms capable of supporting near real-time operational analytics, predictive modeling, digital engineering, AI/ML workloads, and enterprise decision support.
Establish Sustainment-wide data governance, stewardship, metadata management, curation, lineage, quality, lifecycle management, and data ownership frameworks to ensure trusted, authoritative, and reusable enterprise information assets.
Partner with enterprise architects to establish scalable data reference architectures that support interoperability across engineering, logistics, sustainment, supply chain, manufacturing, and business operations.
Lead development of predictive analytics, optimization models, simulation capabilities, machine learning solutions, and executive decision support products that improve readiness, affordability, forecasting accuracy, and operational performance.
Serve as Sustainment’s spokesperson for data strategy, regularly briefing senior leadership, customers, and executive stakeholders on digital modernization progress, organizational performance, and technology investments.
Partner with Engineering, Information Technology, Enterprise Operations, Digital Transformation organizations, and customer stakeholders to establish an integrated enterprise digital ecosystem.

Basic Qualifications:
10+ years functional and/or technical leadership experience managing a matrixed and/or geographically dispersed team.
Proven record of building high‑performing, remote‑work teams and driving cultural change across large, matrixed organizations.
Experience modernizing enterprise data architectures supporting cloud-native, hybrid-cloud, or distributed computing environments.
Experience establishing enterprise data governance, stewardship, metadata management, and data quality programs.
Experience leading enterprise AI/ML strategy, intelligent automation, or advanced analytics initiatives.
Experience leading organizations through significant organizational change and technology modernization.
Demonstrated executive presence with the ability to influence Vice Presidents, General Officers, SES leaders, or executive customer stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to balance operational execution while driving long-term strategic transformation.
Ability to Obtain a Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
Knowledgeable in software/systems development best practices (Agile, CM, Rqmts)
Experience implementing enterprise data mesh, data fabric, or data lakehouse architectures.
Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, or equivalent enterprise data platforms.
Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka, Event Hubs, or similar event-driven architectures.
Experience implementing enterprise metadata management or data catalog solutions.
Familiarity with DataOps, MLOps, and ModelOps methodologies.
Experience with Knowledge Graphs, semantic data models, and enterprise ontology development.
Experience building AI-ready enterprise data ecosystems.
Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Generative AI enablement within enterprise environments.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
