What You Will Be Doing
Join Lockheed Martin’s F-35 Program Communications team in Fort Worth, TX, where you’ll play a key role in shaping how the world’s most advanced fighter aircraft is represented to internal and external audiences. As part of a dynamic and highly visible team, you will develop and execute strategic, integrated communications that support F-35 production, sustainment, and modernization initiatives. In this role, you’ll partner closely with senior leaders, program stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to craft compelling narratives, ensure message alignment, and bring the story of the F-35 to life through creative, data-driven communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage proactive, strategic communications plans that support F-35 production, sustainment, and modernization activities.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and executives to refine program messaging and ensure consistent communication across all audiences.

- Provide strategic counsel and coaching to senior leaders and executives to enhance communication effectiveness.

- Leverage metrics, analytics, and feedback to evaluate communication impact and continuously improve reach and engagement.

- Identify and execute creative storytelling opportunities that strengthen brand awareness and showcase program success.

- Lead the development of integrated content calendars to support key milestones, announcements, and campaigns.

- Support major trade shows and events, including message development, executive panel preparation, and media engagement.

- Manage additional special projects and initiatives that align with F-35 Program Communication priorities.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with 10 years of professional experience, 8 years of professional experience with a Masters degree, or 12 years experience in the absence of a Bachelors Degree

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and experience multitasking.

• Experience connecting multiple activities into a single narrative.
Desired Skills:
• Comfortable interfacing with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organizations.
• Self-motivated, able to work well under deadline and adapt to evolving circumstances.
• Ability to develop strategic compromises when appropriate.
• Should have the ability to travel within the United States and work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
