Description:Do you have a passion for fighter aircraft maintenance and operations? Do you have a proven history of successful leadership in a flightline fighter aircraft maintenance environment? Join our dedicated aviation maintenance team as an Aircraft Maintenance Associate Manager, specializing in leadership over a team of aircraft maintenance professionals sustaining Foreign Military Sales (FMS) F-35 aircraft at Ebbing Air National Guard Base, Arkansas!

**Note: This position will oversee F-35 aircraft maintenance and sustainment operations personnel on 2nd / Swing Shift - typically starting daily shift at or around 2pm Mon-Fri.**

In this crucial role, you will ensure our fleet remains operationally safe for flight and ready for daily training missions. Selected candidate will cover the oversight and leadership of a team of F-35 aircraft maintenance & sustainment professionals supporting the maintenance, repair, launch and recovery operations of FMS F-35 aircraft on site at Ebbing. A commitment to quality and safety, as well as embodying the aspects of Full Spectrum Leadership are key to success in this role.

Beyond this, you will:
• Manage evolving operational needs and objectives
• Be responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, onboarding, training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions
• Enforce local site maintenance practices and quality standards among all personnel
• Coordinate and assign maintenance tasks among team members, optimizing workflow and efficiency
• Interact with FMS customer representatives, dignitaries, VIP's, and aircrew / aircraft maintenance personnel present on site
• Keep meticulous records of aircraft status and maintenance actions within the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS), ensuring data accuracy and compliance
• Regularly update the Site Sr. Leadership team on aircraft availability and readiness, ensuring seamless operations
• Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by the LM AFS Sr. Site Manager and / or the F-35 Aircraft Maintenance Chief based on emergent mission needs


* Position may require extended work hours.
* Operate predominantly on 2nd shift with flexibility to support 1st or 3rd shift as required.
* Candidate must be able to acquire and maintain a flight line driver's competency card.

Physical Requirements:
Successful candidate may be required to lift up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist in the execution of daily job duties.
Basic Qualifications:
• No less than 10 years of working in a military flightline leadership role.

• Craftsman-level knowledge of F-35 aircraft maintenance and sustainment, OR prior 3rd / 4th generation fighter craftsman-level aircraft sustainment (F-16, F-18, A-10, F-15, F-22, F-117) background from a Leadership perspective. *Craftsman Level equates to US Military Senior Non Commissioned Officer level job aptitude and career job knowledge or equivalent civilian commercial aircraft sustainment and leadership experience*

• Able to obtain and maintain a DoD "Secret" level security clearance within one year of date of hire

• Ability to work in a dynamic, multi-customer environment; able to multi-task and coordinate / manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience presenting to and working with leadership, external stakeholders, and team members
Desired Skills:
• Willingness to relocate full time to Fort Smith, AR
• Prior Lockheed Martin Full Spectrum Leadership experience considered a plus
• Unwavering commitment to professionalism
• Able to learn quickly and be a daily self starter, seeking out resolutions to emerging issues and working them to closure in short order
• Experience in business management, finance, supply chain, fleet support, engineering and or program management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Risk and Opportunity Management knowledge
• Excellent communications (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Able to obtain and maintain a DoD "Secret" level security clearance within one year of date of hire

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
