Description:What You Will Be Doing:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Depot Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in 5th generation aircraft maintenance, technical manual development, component repair support equipment, and contract management. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and have experience in developing Supplier Statements Of Work (SSOW), estimating labor hours, and assessing work scope. The Depot Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for developing business case recommendations for standing up depot repair capabilities and briefing internal and external leadership. This role will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines, requiring the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and presentation skills are also necessary, as the Depot Maintenance Specialist will be required to brief internal and external leadership on business case recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage SSOW for depot activation / enhancement contracts
• Estimate labor hours required to repair hydromechanical, electrical, avionic, and structural aircraft components
• Develop Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates to include:
• Depot technician labor hours / rate
• Repair material projections
• Supplier engineering and management labor hours / rate
• Test, repair, and support equipment requirements
• Facility modification
• Technical data development
• Projected travel events
• Calculate Return On Investment (ROI) for depot repair business cases
• Develop and brief business case recommendations for standing up depot repair capabilities to internal and external leadership
• Applying depot maintenance concepts to contractual requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of depot repair contracts
• This role will require occasional travel to OEMs and Air Force depots

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in depot-level aircraft component repair conops
• Familiarity with technical manual development and maintenance procedures
• Experience with contract management and/or SSOW development
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and briefing skills, with experience briefing internal and external leadership at all levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to calculate ROI and develop business case recommendations
• Familiarity with difference contract types such as: Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), and Time & Material (T&M)
Desired Skills:
• Familiarity with USAF regulations and policy associated with fighter aircraft sustainment and management of Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
• Understanding of Supply condition forms and categories assigned to parts under repair
• Program / Project Management experience with scheduling and budgeting
• Experience working in a depot maintenance environment
• Familiarity with Government Direct Sales Implementation Agreements (DSIA)
• Familiarity with government contracting procedures and regulations
• Experience with estimating labor hours and developing ROM estimates
• Knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures and technical manuals
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with Direct Sales Implementation Agreements (DSIA) and their application to Regional Depot Maintenance Groups
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
