You will be the Aero Eng Manager - AMMM & F35 Design Support, F35 Cert, and IFG ASIP for the AMMM & F35 Design Support Team which is responsible for advancing mission‑critical design and certification initiatives.



What You Will Be Doing


As the Aero Eng Manager - AMMM & F35 Design Support, F35 Cert, and IFG ASIP you will be responsible for providing oversight of electronic verification of drawings, CAM execution, and compliance with ASIP and certification requirements while driving innovative solutions.


Your responsibilities will include:



  • Oversee electronic verification of AMMM and F35 drawings, CAM execution, and ensure compliance with ASIP and certification mandates.

  • Identify and embed AI‑driven enhancements and digital‑thread solutions to boost product quality and schedule performance.

  • Lead talent management across the performance cycle, including reviews, career‑development dialogues, awards, promotions, hiring, reductions, and performance‑improvement initiatives.

  • Build and sustain a strategic talent pipeline and knowledge‑transfer programs to preserve critical expertise.

  • Collaborate across Lines of Business to deliver seamless, integrated outcomes for mission‑critical schedules.

Further Information About This Opportunity


MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.


Basic Qualifications:
- Engineering degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience with contracts, proposals, negotiations with various customers
- Experience with requirements development and documentation
- CAM certified and experience
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams with varied skill sets
- Experience with Engineering projects and tasks related to Design Support Tools and Processes such as CATIA V5/V4, CCD, EDMS, EBOM, ADMS and PDM Teamcenter
- Experience with Build To Package standards and processes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to create concise presentations and deliver them effectively to senior leadership and external customers as required
Desired Skills:
- Background in F-16 and F-22 configurations
- Familiarity with ASIP and Certification requirements
- Managing allocation budgets and staffing models
- VEMO experience
- Familiarity of electronic checking and ADMS
- Familiarity of PDM Teamcenter lifecycle
- Familiar with PM-4052 Engineering Design Manual
- Working knowledge or experience with the digital data delivery process, digital thread and 1LMX Initiatives
- Experience with ASME standards (Y14.100 Drawings, and Y14.5 GD&T)
- Experience working with contingent non-employees
- Experience managing and coordinating teams across multiple geographic sites

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
