Description:
You will be the Contracts Management Sr, supporting the THAAD Program pursuits through contract administration, negotiations, metrics, and future contract planning. Our team is responsible for delivering exceptional contract management expertise to drive business growth and success.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Contracts Management Sr, you will be responsible for performing contracts management functions across the spectrum of actions associated with providing supplies and services, from capture through proposal, contract award, and all phases of contract administration.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing contract administration support by reviewing, interpreting, and negotiating contract requirements, contract change impacts, extending and administering IWTAs, and requests for proposals/ROMs
• Performing proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and administration assistance for programs and special projects as assigned
• Providing business advice and guidance to and coordinating with other functions, including program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance
• Serving as an authorized, empowered representative for the Company, interfacing with Customer buying representatives to build effective relationships and manage contracts to support business goals and objectives
• Coordinating solutions to contractual issues and Customer concerns related to Company performance, and ensuring contractual compliance with all laws and regulations
• Leading and supporting audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance
• Evaluating and coordinating proposals, investigating and reconciling significant contract changes involving cost, specifications, schedules, etc.
• Collecting contractual data and compiling reports in response to Corporate and Business Area requests
• Ensuring final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached during negotiations

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with 6 years of professional experience, or 4 years of professional experience with a Master's degree
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Proven ability to develop internal and external relationships; must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be detail oriented and able to work in a virtual team environment; Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent presentation skills, strong analytical abilities, and be a self-start who can work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to establish effective working relationships and communications with all internal and external customers and must possess excellent business acumen
Desired Skills:
- Prior experience in all aspects of the contract life cycle including proposals, negotiations, administration, and close-out
- Incentive Fee Contracting knowledge of both Cost Type and Fixed Price arrangements
- Prior Contracts experience working with MDA (Missile Defense Agency) or THAAD work experience
Proven experience negotiating and administering a variety of fixed price type (FFP, FPIF) and cost type contracts (CPFF, CPIF)
- Electronic Contracting Environment (ECE) experience
- Familiarity with the IWTA system and related policies and procedures
- Ability to engage in routine and unique problems/issues to help develop solutions for multi-million-dollar complex contracts
- Ability to coordinate DCAA and DCMA activities including audits, performance-based payment plans, etc.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
