What You Will Be Doing

We’re looking for a Tool & Die Making Associate Manager to lead a highly skilled team responsible for the manufacturing of special tooling. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality, cost-effective tooling solutions that directly support aircraft production and rework operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on leadership and day-to-day management of a team focused on tool and die making, ensuring alignment with established policies and procedures.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and external partners to meet tooling requirements and resolve complex challenges.
- Guide your team to meet or exceed cost, quality, and schedule objectives, contributing to broader organizational success.
- Drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of accountability, safety, and innovation.
- Translate design concepts into actionable solutions for tooling processes, supporting both short-term fixes and long-term improvements.
- Serve as a key partner in strategic decision-making for tooling development and support.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with Tooling processes and procedures
Desired Skills:
• Operating systems, AMCS, SAP, EDMS, SFM
• 6S Principles
• Experience managing employees involved in the fabrication of tools, building of jigs and fixtures, template and pattern making, and model building
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Flexibility to work any shift
• Previous Management Experience preferred

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
