Description:You will be a Shipping and Receiving Specialist with Lockheed Martin's Archbald facility, which specializes in design, manufacturing, and engineering for both domestic and international customers. It produces electronic assemblies, machined and welded assemblies/parts, and safety-critical systems for various defense and commercial applications. What You Will Be Doing
As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe shipment of products, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and compliance with regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Fabricate bags, unit wraps, and corrugated containers to support the items being packed for shipment
• Construct wood crates and wood containers as required for packing applications
• Work with Operations leadership, Production Control, Customer, and Government Representatives daily in a courteous and professional manner
• Keep records of shipping authority and shipments by date, destination, description, order number, consignee, and assist supervisor in issuing reports such as material shipped, etc.
• Create Bills of Lading for all shipments
• Prepare and submit government shipping paperwork
Store all material in a safe manner, utilizing space to maximum advantage
• Participate during internal and external audits as required
Arrange with carriers to pick up shipments
• Ensure shipment is taken to dock and loaded on truck
• Check for proper postal and freight charges
• Validate paperwork to product
• Use basic hand tools and power tools as required when performing specific heavy pack crating and palletizing applications
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Submit requisitions for crating to carpenter shop as needed
• Maintain records of results
• Organize shipments
• Physical Requirements:
- Lifting 50 pounds
- Standing, sitting, bending, walking, 10+ hours per day
- Personal protective equipment including Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, and wearing a respirator when required

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Shipping and traffic experience
• Knowledge of logistics and ability to source transportation when needed
• Knowledge of DD250 and 1149 documents and ability to submit in e-tools
• Ability to become Licensed Forklift operator
• Knowledge of Mil-PRF-23199, Mil-Std-129, Mil-Std-2073
• Advanced computer skills
• Ability to work with hand tools and drills
• Ability to work off-shift schedule if needed
• Ability to file export documents (through the AES government website) and create Bills of Lading for Ocean, Air, and Truck transportation
• Knowledge of how to handle Haz-mat products and shipping knowledge to prepare shipments and DOT Bills of Lading
• Ability to create mil spec labels and use mil spec software
• Ability to safely move product with tools such as forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and similar tools
• Knowledge of Export and Imports
• Ability to count using tools such as scales and x-ray part counters, and other measuring devices
• Ability to obtain crane/hoist certification
• Overtime is required when needed, including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
• Ability to support a flexible work schedule supporting overtime, off-Fridays, weekends, and/or alternate shifts to support product schedules as required
• Must be able to obtain a Government Security clearance
• Must be a self-starter and reliable
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship
Desired Skills:
• Responsible for training new personnel on policies, procedures and duties
• Forklift experience
• Familiar with proper Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive (ESD) handling processes & procedures
• Ability to work well with others and cross shift with others on the same work
• Self-starter and able to work with limited supervision
• Demonstrated computer skills areas of LM tools including SAP, Apriso, Command Media, PAL and Windchill
• Demonstrated Microsoft Office computer proficiency
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
