You will be an Automotive Vehicle Administrator supporting systems integration and test activities at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico. Our team is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of a fleet of vehicles, trailers, and generators, and as the Automotive Vehicle Administrator, you will play a critical role in this process.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Automotive Vehicle Administrator, you will be responsible for administering a fleet of approximately 40 vehicles, 25 trailers, and 10 generators, ensuring they are safe to operate, compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requirements, and well-maintained. You will also serve as the main point of contact for vehicle maintenance, scheduling, and repair, and will be responsible for developing and delivering training to Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) operators.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Administering the fleet of vehicles, trailers, and generators to ensure safety, compliance, and maintenance
• Coordinating vehicle maintenance, scheduling, and repair, including shuttling equipment to and from maintenance facilities
• Managing vehicle keys, registrations, insurance, and maintenance records
• Developing and delivering training to CMV operators
• Using a company-issued purchasing card to pay for services and reconciling monthly expenses

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• 2 years of professional experience with an associate’s degree in Automotive Technology or related, or equivalent training, education, or experience.
• Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving history.
• Ability to safely drive tractor-trailer combinations, tow/back trailers with pickup trucks, and operate heavy equipment.
• Familiarity with requirements set forth by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).
• This facility requires special access and therefore all candidates must be US Citizens.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Current or prior ASE certification.
• Demonstrated effective communications (written and oral), and demonstrated proficiency with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) and web-based information systems
• Current DoD Secret clearance.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
• Experience working on test ranges.
• Experience working with explosives.
• Familiar with the requirements of the DoD Contractor's Safety Manual for Ammunition and Explosives (DoD 4145.26M)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
