Lockheed Martin’s Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Enterprise Communications group is seeking an energetic and creative communicator to lead the business’ social media operations and serve as a key member of its Content and Channel Strategy team.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Content Strategy & Editorial Operations: Serve as the primary point of contact for RMS’ Sikorsky and Training & Logistics Solutions portfolios, including owning the Sikorsky social media channels and contributing to Lockheed Martin enterprise social media channels; managing Sikorsky and TLS inputs to RMS’ integrated editorial calendar; and strategizing approaches for aligning advertising, web and social media content.

• Social Media Campaign & Advertising Management: Craft compelling social media posts and campaigns. Manage RMS and Sikorsky social media ad budgets, including creating custom audiences and amplifying and targeting content.

• Conversation Monitoring and Engagement: Identify existing online conversations and shape new ones that move audiences to take action—whether it’s watching a video, applying for a job or participating in an event.

• Insights & Analysis: Deliver actionable analysis and best practice recommendations to ensure content is effectively reaching audiences and achieving KPIs. Advance A/B testing across social media channels.

• Education & Best Practice Sharing: Advance the organization’s understanding of existing and emerging social media channels, tools and trends. Serve as the primary point of contact for Lockheed Martin’s enterprise social media team.
Basic Qualifications:
• Strategic mindset with the ability to connect multiple activities into a single narrative
• Excellent communications skills, including campaign creative brief writing, digital copywriting and video storyboarding
• Comfortable operating in a matrixed organization and interfacing with all levels of the organization
• Self-motivated, able to work well under deadline and adapt to evolving circumstances
• Up to 20 percent travel
Desired Skills:
• Familiarity with content management systems such as Sprinklr and Adobe Experience Manager
• Familiarity with insights tools such as Google Analytics and Buzz Sumo
• Prior experience managing social media advertising and campaign budgets
