Job Responsibilities
Description:WHAT WE’RE DOING
This position is part of the Indo-Pacific RMS International Strategy and Business Development team. The role directly interfaces with our customers in Korea and Taiwan for both current and future programs and directly supports all Rotary Mission Systems.
THE WORK
- Identify and evaluate new international business opportunities, shape customer requirements and directly support RMS Line of Business capture activities while managing international customer relationships.
- Manage and coordinate capture and keep sold activities within Korea and Taiwan
- Understand, articulate and support our regional and global strategies.
- Develop a Korea and Taiwan business development plan that sustains current franchise programs and develops growth opportunities.
- Coordinate across multiple Business Areas / functions within the corporation - Global Business Development, Lockheed Martin Business areas (Aero, MFC, Space), Program Management, Operations, Finance, etc.
- Build and sustain senior level relationships with Korean and Taiwan decision makers and facilitate RMS engagements through capture activities.

• Drive lead generation, pipeline development, and funnel conversion for RMS.
• Conduct market research, budget process analysis, and capability gap assessments for target customers.
Compliance & Governance
• Ensure full compliance with FMS and DCS sales.
Travel
• Up to 60 % travel to customer sites, trade shows, and partner facilities - occasionally worldwide.

Basic Qualifications:
-20+ years of business development experience and/or operational experience in the region leading and capturing business.
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills
and the ability to clearly communicate with top
level customers, RMS leadership, LM cross BA leadership and other personnel.
- Demonstrated ability to work positively within Korea and Taiwan with Cultural sensitivity that closes on opportunities and deepens Lockheed Martin's relationship with key customers
- Experience working with cross functional teams to achieve business outcomes
- A high degree of flexibility and the ability to travel worldwide without restriction. Must be able to operate and thrive in a fast-paced international environment. Must be self-motivated and able to operate with minimal guidance and succeed in a highly competitive environment.
- Strong understanding of Rotary Wing capability, operation, employment.
- Strong understanding and experience in Korea defense market.
- Strong decision-making ability and willingness to do the right thing by the company and our customers.
- Demonstrated experience working with a team to identify “Art of the deal” activities that support customer needs and increase probability of win
Desired Skills:
- Experience with business case development and ability to work with functions such as contracts, industrial development and finance.
- Ability to understand and interpret international customers' needs and requirements and relate them back to strategy and programmatic processes
- Strong understanding of the Taiwan defense market.
- Strong financial planning skills.
- Avid learner – strong desire to understand the entire portfolio within RMS and the Lockheed Martin Enterprise.
- Knowledge of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales contracting and FMS process with USG organizations.
- Experience working with US Embassy personnel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate strategies at multiple levels of business and government
- Understanding of diverse Asian cultures as it would pertain to regional strategies and regional strategies.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Team Player – effective at organizing and motivating a diverse set of individuals in pursuit of common objectives. Must work well with broader RMS team.
- Experience working with and managing consultants.
- Deal closer – highly effective at bringing tasks and projects to a successful and timely conclusion.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $151,200 - $266,570. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
