What You Will Be Doing
As a Systems Engineer you will be responsible for:
• Developing, coordinating, and managing deliberate 3DIM plans associated with engineering analysis and geotechnical characterizations for structural response
• Supporting the development of foreign and domestic surface and subsurface strategic facilities
• Providing expertise in virtual and physics-based modeling to support engineering analysis and geotechnical characterizations
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement 3DIM plans
• Conducting geotechnical characterizations and engineering analysis to support structural response modeling
• Developing and maintaining models and simulations to support 3DIM planning and execution
• Providing technical guidance and expertise to junior team members and stakeholders

This position is in Virginia Beach, VA.
Basic Qualifications:
Knowledge in reverse engineering characterization that identifies single point vulnerabilities (SPV) of process, network flow analysis and the integration of all related information from the identified facility and supported facilities.
Knowledge in physics-based software, integration of human injury models, and weapon effects against conventional CONUS and OCONUS structural buildings that supports potential survivability against all types of targeting options and estimate post-attack recovery capabilities.
Knowledge in providing modeling products to support Commanders' operational decision making, to include collateral damage estimation (COE) and weaponeering, command and control, and operational concept (CONOP) development and visualization.
Knowledge in designing various applications for detecting, locating, identifying, physically and functionally characterizing, modeling and-assessing new and existing modeling technologies
Knowledge of mission, organization and interrelationships of Department of Defense intelligence agencies, interagency working groups, national policies and doctrine to coordinate and alleviate deliberate plans and policy issues for the command.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of national and commercial overhead aerial imagery systems and standards.
Knowledge of software, products, support, database design, and visualization analysis techniques by assisting engineering solutions from intelligence efforts that allows the user to view, process, and perform analysis of all source intelligence in a 3D environment.
Broad knowledge of Department of Defense Services special operations doctrine, tactics and procedures to develop, coordinate and implement plans, policy and guidance.
Ability to plan and present briefings to various national leaders and dignitaries of sensitive national plans, policies, doctrine and how they relate to joint missions.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
