The Payload Launch Sites Support Services (PLSSS) Program within Space Systems provides all launch processing support functions for Office of Space Launch (OSL). One of the program’s two primary operating locations is Vandenberg AFB, CA. Key elements of the PLSSS program scope include satellite launch processing, transport operations, propellant loading operations, and processing facilities O&M, clean room operations, and safety and environmental services.

The PLSSS program seeks a Personal Computer Support Technician reporting to the Services Manager who is a junior or senior-level student majoring in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field. The Intern will be supporting Windows 10 upgrades, new computer installations, help desk support, Risk Management Framework, and other tasks assigned by his/her Lead or Manager.

This position is covered under the Service Contract Act (SCA) with an hourly wage no less than $24.75 per hour.
Basic Qualifications:
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree or minor in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related
• Must have ability to work on computer workstations
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft Applications
