System Integration / Test Engineer Associate

Description:The candidate selected will assist with testing Developmental, Breadboard and Production articles for both active and passive antenna and radar systems and sub-systems within the Labs and Technical Services Electromagnetics Department.

Experience in RF and microwave measurement and processing techniques is a plus. Experience with various data acquisition systems and methods, including transmission loss, VSWR, antenna radiation, and Radar Cross Section (RCS) is a plus.

A working knowledge of RF/microwave network and spectrum analyzers and RCS measurements is desired. The ability to provide technical support in, design, implementation, troubleshooting, and repair of RF/microwave hardware is desired.

Experience in near-field and far-field RF/microwave and High Power RF/microwave measurements is desired. Duties will include the coordination and execution of tasks related to the manufacturing, test and analysis of RF hardware and systems.

Good written and oral communication skills, along with advanced computer skills are necessary. The candidate selected must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and be able to provide weekly status reports and presentations to management. The candidate selected may be required to support extended or odd shifts and overtime.

Must be a US citizen. This position requires special access and will require a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Electro/ mechanical test experience

RF / Microwave / electronic data acquisition experience

RF / Microwave / electronic troubleshooting experience
Desired Skills:
Antenna Radiation test experience
Near and Far-Field RF measurement experience
RF/Microwave power measurement experience
Vector Network Analyzer
Experience with CompTIA Security+ Certification
