The successful candidate will join a diverse Logistics team at RMS Mitchel Field, and support Trident Navigation US / UK FLEET program and initiatives. This position will require the individual to perform the following responsibilities:
• Provide inventory management for navigation equipment, materials and spares, and process requisitions for fleet support
• Maintain Stock Control through SSP Advanced Integrated Logistics (SAIL) system.
• Manages inventory to include system stock, repair facilities, and customer locations, including priority interpretation, inventory allocation and asset redistribution as necessary among sources of supply and military operating locations.
• Forecasts budget requirements; ensures fidelity of asset identification; resolves technical and support problems for assigned classes of items by actively interfacing with engineering
• Prepares status reports and metrics relating to fleet support.

This position requires direct interface with the US Navy customer, US Navy representatives, subcontractors, and Lockheed Martin management/engineering personnel. Specific qualifications and task requirements include:
• Conduct and support on-going meetings and interact directly with US Navy logistics personnel
• Interface with a variety of internal LM and external Government, engineering, logistics, financial and program management disciplines
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Supply Chain Management to include spares analysis, forecasting, obsolescence management/tracking and inventory management
• Develop and perform in depth briefings for both LM senior management and external customers including participation in ad-hoc meetings and program reviews
• Track and manage repairable items through the supply chain providing support to fleet assets
• Plan, track, and execute the on-time delivery of all Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) products ensuring quality and adherence to contractual requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Knowledge of logistics, provisioning and maintenance concepts, government property management and military requisitions, logistics supply
• Project leadership experience
• Working in a team environment
• Microsoft Office product knowledge
• Product Life Cycle Management
Desired Skills:
• Prior Navy supply experience desirable
• Green Belt Training/Certification
• Experience with US submarine supply management system preferably with submarine strategic combat systems
• Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP) graduate is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Master’s degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

The base range for this position in New York is $94354.15 - $147611.46.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. The wage range and benefits summary is a general guideline and is governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement when extending an offer.
