A member of the Procurement Quality Engineering Team responsible for assuring the quality and performance of subcontractors/suppliers providing Maintenance, Operations and Sustainment Services for the ATMP program.

Primary work locations will be at RMS Training and Logistics Solutions facility at Orlando, FL and Tobyhanna Army Depot, PA.

Interface with Sustaining Engineers, Sourcing, Suppliers, SMT stakeholder, Management and DCMA Customers. Assist program in ensuring supply chain compliance to company processes, contractual requirements and product specifications. Identify process improvement opportunities and clearly communicate.
Work constructively in order to influence supplier personnel; facilitate resolution of receiving issues (grief or NCM) and drive process implementation to prevent recurrence.

Conduct process auditing; verify procedure adherence to
Quality Management System. Conduct hardware audits to validate product conformance to documented requirements; conduct configuration audits; verification of purchased material.

Perform causal analysis and corrective action implementation; demonstrate agility; ability to gather facts quickly before making a snap judgement; know when to utilize the different RCA tools.

Able to work with all levels of management
Interface w/ government customer (DCMA).
Identify process improvement opportunities and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities will include collaborating with engineering, test and supplier personnel to lead RC/CA efforts for supplier items. Candidate will analyze/ correlate performance, reliability, failure trends. Utilize to correlate results and determine root causes.

Work with sustainment engineering operations, suppliers, and SMT members to recommend / drive effective closed loop solutions to eliminate process and product deficiencies.

Coordinate efforts with Suppliers, Operations and Engineering to expedite the timely closure of open QNotes, SCARs with effective C/As and P/As.
Participate in interchanges between suppliers, sustainment engineers and other personnel involving maintenance, operations and sustainment.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experienced with mechanical, electrical, functional designs and interfaces.
- Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, tactical Vehicles, Weapons Systems, Industrial, Hardware, and Manufacturing engineering knowledge.
- Quality and logistics metrics analysis.
- Knowledgeable in IFS.
- Advanced in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Possess the ability expand beyond just Procurement.
- Quality and effectively engage in Supplier Management and Improvement practices.
- Self-starter, Decision making skills, Clear. Communication, Team Player, Excellent DCMA/Customer and Supplier Interface, Presentation skills.
- Able to work with all levels of management.
- Interface w/ government customer (DCMA).
- Identify process improvement opportunities and clearly communicate.
- Able to build team consensus on implementation of IOs

- Outstanding interpersonal and problem solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Possess good decision making acumen and be able to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels.
