The Manager, Contracts Management will provide contracts management leadership for the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program.



This role will offer you the following daily challenges:



• Advisor to the Program Management team and Senior Contracts Leadership on Government and International contracting issues.
• Coordinates and consults with legal staff as appropriate.
• Plays a key role in shaping the future of Lockheed Martin through capturing follow-on and new business as well as developing leaders within the organization.
• Collaboration-minded leader with an understanding of how negotiation strategy impacts both Lockheed Martin and the customer. Significant successful experience in building and managing a staff.

This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility, one of the Coolest places to work: Space Coast USA : Titusville, FL. , and be expected to work in the office.
Basic Qualifications:
To be successful, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and 15 years of experience in the Acquisition and/or Contracts Management field -or- Master’s degree from an accredited college and 12 years of professional experience in the Acquisition and/or Contracts Management field.
• Prior professional experience in all aspects of the contract lifecycle including proposals, administration, and closeout.
• Proficient in the FAR and DFARS.
• Prior professional experience coordinating DCAA and DCMA activities including audits and performance based payment plans.
• Prior professional experience leading or mentoring direct reports or colleagues.
• Willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time.
• You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain, and maintain a US DoD TOP SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Desired Skills:
To be successful, ideally, you should also have:

• Proposal capture experience.
• Virtual team management experience.
• Possess effective relationship building skills with peers, leadership and suppliers
• You bring positivity and enthusiasm to every project you touch. In addition to the work, you love being part of a team and working collaboratively through the process.
• Proven exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.
