We are looking for a dedicated Systems Integration Engineering Manager to join the Next Generation Geo (NGG)/Overhead Persistent Infra-Red (OPIR) team in Sunnyvale, California.

In this role, you will:
• Lead the program's Systems Integration efforts to include technical direction, planning, and staffing for the NGG OPIR Space Vehicle Systems Integration group. Functions include electrical design integration, hardware/software integration and early demonstration efforts, communication system and crypto integration, database, and cyber integration.
• Manage Systems and Project Engineering resources for the program, and provide programmatic and proposal support
• Provide guidance to a Systems Engineering team to include full Systems Engineering lifecycle processes, from architecture and requirements development through weapons system operations and integration, and their application to OPIR programs
• Perform staffing and performance responsibilities; in coordination with HR and established processes
• Establish, manage, and communicate team expectations, goals, roles, responsibilities, and objectives
• Collaborate with government and customer representatives in support of critical space-based daily operations and distributed multi-element deliveries and activities
• Lead and perform technical planning, system integration, validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems

To be successful, you will typically have 14+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor's degree.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in an Engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, etc), with hands-on knowledge of spacecraft integration with hardware and software experience
• Experience with LM2100 product line and integration of spacecraft avionics
• Overall understanding of digital design and standard high-speed interfaces
• Basic knowledge of spacecraft communications systems, cryptographic hardware, and cyber
• U.S. Citizenship and Active DoD Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Current TS/SCI security clearance
• Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering and/or other technical field, INCOSE Certification, or relevant Graduate Certificate
• Strong proven experience in electrical and mechanical integration on a space vehicle program
• Systems Engineering process knowledge or experience and complete lifecycle experience with Engineering processes, tools, and reviews
• Experience leading technical teams
• Comfortable working in a fast paced and multifaceted multi-disciplinary environment
• Ability to lead multi-functional teams and lead multiple teams to communicate and coordinate work as one team with common goals
• Recognized as an authority in systems thinking techniques with the proven ability to apply them to a wide range of complex problems and train others in their application
• Excellent communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members, customers, and leadership
