Lockheed Martin Space has an immediate opportunity for a dynamic, hardworking career-level Digital Transformation Electronics Project Lead to join our mission. We are embarking on a transformational journey. Digital Transformation is Lockheed Martin’s path to the future with its interconnected environment where data becomes information and information drives decisions that create value across the entire lifecycle. To help us along this journey Space is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Digital Transformation Electronics Project Lead.

This role will offer you the following daily challenges:
• Manages the ECAD2OPs (Electronics Computer-Aided Design to Operations) project portfolio, with monthly updates to the Digital Transformation organization.
• Identifies digital transformation activities through design and manufacturing delivery of electronics boxes, working with teams to scope projects (finances, resources, and timelines) and develop MVPs (minimum viable products) with supporting Integrated Implementation Plans (IIPs).
• Drives efficiency and reduces costs by providing foundational tools and creating digital connections across the design and manufacturing life cycles.
• Organized and efficient in marketing, planning and managing a portfolio of projects while providing teams clear direction on expectations.
• Needs to recognize major contributors and stakeholders for projects and ensure their input is received and addressed.
• Communicates with suppliers and tool vendors project requirements, expectations, and roadmaps for an aligned partnership.
• Must recognize relationships with other portfolios, within Space and across the corporation, and coordinate efforts with other project leads.
• Support program engagement team to ensure project deliverables are properly communicated to programs and start-up efforts are understood.
• Support the collection of metrics to show the overall impact of Digital Transformation implementation activities.

• 12+ years of professional experience for this role.
• Willing and able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in business, engineering, or technical field or a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education.

• Proven ability to manage and control schedule / scope / cost on a challenging project.

• Experienced engineer with a minimum of 12 years on the overall Electronic Design life cycle including Manufacturing.

• Experience working directly with outside vendors and/or customers.

• Experience with lean manufacturing improvement and/or digital transformation projects.

• Minimum 5 years Electronics Computer Aided Design (ECAD) tools (Altium, Cadence, Mentor, Zuken) experience.

• Minimum 3 years of programming experience related to scripting, design automation.

• Experience with technical trade studies and assessments.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with strong presentation skills and capable of briefing audiences large or small of varying technical knowledge.

Desired Skills:
• Current TS/SCI Security Clearance
• Control account manager (CAM) experience
• Familiarity with Printed Circuit Board Fabrication and Assembly Manufacturing equipment and processes
• Industry organization experience (such as the IPC organization)
• Broad experience of Systems Engineering life cycle process and tools
• Program management experience and skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic multidisciplinary environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid
relationships with team members, customers, and leadership
• Ability to lead multi-functional teams and lead multiple teams to communicate and coordinate work as one team with common goals
• Analytical thinker with a demonstrated ability of solving complex problems requiring ingenuity and innovation
• Exposure to Agile project management tools (JIRA, etc.)
• Exposure to Mechanical Computer-Aided Design (MCAD) tools (CREO, AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
• Minimum 1-year experience with Signal/Power Integrity, Electronics Part Stress Analysis, or Worst Case Circuit Analysis for PCB Designs
• Experience with technical trade studies and assessments
• Experience with RF Design tools and processes
• Experience with CoreSim and Simulink
