As a Survivability Engineer, you will support the Remote Sensing, Special Programs LOB, in one or more of the following areas:
• Applying electrical, electronics and physics theories to execute various tasks related to Survivability engineering field
• Ensuring that space vehicle designs, from the component level to the system level, will meet performance requirements during and after exposure to specified environments; these environments include natural space radiation
• Conducting technical planning, specification requirements derivation, modeling and analysis, design, test planning and execution, documentation, requirements verification/validation to support overall system needs and act as technical consultant for management and customers
• Will be partnered with other authorities, mentors, and peers

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with Software tools for performing electrical engineering and mathematical analyses (e.g., MATLAB, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience with Test laboratory environments and associated test disciplines and test equipment (e.g., data acquisition systems, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and/or signal generators)
• Working knowledge of Electronics and /or semiconductor physics and operation
Current TOP SECRET or SCI security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Natural Space Radiation environments and design hardness, and ability to perform tasks pertinent to Survivability discipline
• Experience with Electrical engineering simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, PSPICE, etc.)
• Radiation software tools (e.g., NOVICE, Srim/Trim, Novice/Geant4, Creme96, Creme-mc, Shieldose, Spenvis, Omere, Ap8/Ap8, and Ap9/Ae9)
• Experience working in Radiation test facilities [e.g., test labs in universities]
• Electronic, electrical, electromechanical and electrooptical (EEEE) components
• Experience with Piece-part radiation testing, performance, and reliability
• Work and collaborate with peers and senior specialists from within and outside the engineering group
• Experience performing anomaly resolution
• Demonstrated basic understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors
• Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering
• Ability to lead multi-functional teams, build strong relationships with team members and build consensus among peers
