This position will be supporting the Common Products team for LM Space Global Supply Chain Enterprise Sourcing and Strategy. Candidates must comply to purchasing policies, procedures and program requirements. Responsible for all subcontract proposal activity on multiple programs. Responsible for preparation and issuance of RFP/RFQ's, researching and evaluating qualifications of procurement sources, preparing detailed evaluations of proposals, developing negotiation strategies and negotiation scope to target costs. The Subcontract Administrator Staff will manage and lead a Subcontract Management Team (SMT) including subcontractor, engineering, quality, planning, finance, and production to meet contract performance objectives.

As the Subcontract Administrator Staff you will:

• Manage and lead a Subcontract Management Team (SMT) including subcontractor, engineering, quality, planning, finance, and production to meet contract performance objectives.
• Able to make appropriate decisions necessary to move programs forward during the proposal and contractual performance stages.
• Capable of resolving supplier performance issues, internal LM issues that effect supplier performance, and remedy accounts payable / invoicing.
• A flexible team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Basic Qualifications:
• Knowledge of procurement processes and regulations under DoD
• Expertise with SAP/P2P Purchasing System, PO
• Folders, procedures and FAR/DFAR requirements.
• Significant procurement experience with respect to Subcontract Management activities.
• Demonstrated subcontract experience to include development of RFP’s, complex statements of work, evaluation criteria, and source selection criteria.
• Must have current or recent subcontract management experience to be considered for this position, have a strong knowledge of LMAP and/or FAR/DFAR and a demonstrated track record of compliance performance
Desired Skills:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.
• Experience managing both development and production programs.
• Demonstrated ability to manage risk mitigation plans, resolve cost and schedule issues to meet program needs, conflict management as necessary, and manage an Integrated Product Team.
• Electronics subcontract experience.
• Strong problem identification and resolution skills.
• Demonstrated ability to bring matters/issues to successful closure.
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
