The Space Development Agency is continuing the fielding of its Tracking Layer constellation. This position is for the Strategy and Business Development Capture Manager for Tranche 2 and beyond. Since SDA is procuring a new Tranche every two years, this position will be dynamic, with continuous strategy and pursuit activities. The SDA Tracking Layer Campaign Capture Manager will have the following principal responsibilities:
• Leads capture efforts to secure new or re-compete contracts, or task order business. This includes leading multiple pursuits in parallel.
• Has accountability to shape and win new business through a balanced focus on customer value, the competitive environment, and the corporation's best interests.
• Develops capture strategy including business solution for pursuit of opportunities; identifies potential customers, competitive assessments, teaming suppliers, and prices-to-win; participates in bid and proposal activities.
• Has responsibility to lead and integrate the assigned cross-functional team and authority to direct team activities for the duration of the pursuit.
• Maintains ongoing interaction with business development.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 18 or more years of professional experience; or 15 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
• Experience in business development and capture activities
• Demonstrated experience in leading a capture as a Capture Manager
• Experience leading cross-functional teams on time-sensitive BD activities
• Proven management and leadership skills, ranging from budget to personnel issues
• DoD Secret Clearance is required with the ability to obtain & maintain TS/SCI clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Experience in capture and keep-sold activities for programs worth >$500M
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Prior Program Management experience
• Experience leading multiple projects/teams in parallel
• Technical understanding of optical communications and data routing/networking
• Active TS/SCI clearance

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $142,100 - $267,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
