The Advanced Technology Center is seeking exceptional candidates with a strong technical background, a passion for collaborating across a diverse, high-performing organization and a motivation to discover creative solutions to some of our nation’s highest priority problems. Our department solves problems by understanding observables based on fundamental physics and using that understanding to develop innovative methods to process, analyze and exploit the data collected by our systems. Our team supports a wide variety of mission areas and customers, applying cutting edge disciplines such as 3D lidar sensing, machine learning/artificial intelligence and quantum computing. This position will provide support to senior researchers in the areas of phenomenology, sensor modeling, image and signal processing, modeling and simulation.

This is for positions in the Sunnyvale and Palo Alto, California area.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors’ degree in Physics, Chemistry, Optics, Remote Sensing, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Entry level.

This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen. Ability to obtain a clearance

The successful candidate will have demonstrated proficiency or mastery of at least several of the desired skills, as well as the interest, motivation and ability to learn and grow in the other desired skill areas:
