Our Engineering & Technology organization is seeking a thought leader to drive the standup and execution of a new organization focused on advancing the Future of Engineering. This leader will drive an agile, innovative team to support the leaders and employees across E&T with talent, tools and processes. This leader must be passionate about people and our core engineering skills, and drive innovation in these areas for the future.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain the integrity of our engineering critical skills, including details of each skill, career paths, development pipelines
• Drive knowledge broadening at an individual and organizational level
• Provide avenues for employee growth & development that will feed our talent pipeline into NextGen leaders and subject matter experts
• Identify opportunities for engineering resources to apply expertise from other program areas across programs and centers of excellence (CoEs)
• Implement and lead technical knowledge management to develop and maintain key technical skills, knowledge continuity, talent pipeline health and facilitate career advancement opportunities to employees
• Drive innovation and affordability in our tool sets
• Modernize engineering processes
• Demonstrate Full Spectrum Leadership through leading and scaling the organization
Basic Qualifications:
• Excellent communications skills both verbal and written with the proven ability to communicate to all levels internally and externally.
• Demonstrated ability to drive a strategic initiative, from concept to implementation, in support of the larger enterprise
• Demonstrated experience in talent management and development
• Must have proven leadership experience leading employees to perform productively and foster relationships in a cross-functional team environment
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically at the highest level
• Demonstrated experience in developing technical talent and building pipelines to sustain technical expertise within the organization.
US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain & maintain TS/SCI clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated complex analysis experience
• Proven experience as a conceptual thinker with the ability to translate into action and results.
• Wide variety of customer experience and exposure across LOBs.
• Experience in a position to make high stakes decisions.
• Extensive customer and external community relationships.
• Experience in multiple LOBs
