This Enterprise Operations (EO) position supports the Lockheed Martin Space division located in the Sunnyvale, CA facility - this is an onsite, non-telecommuter position. The selected candidate will have both technical execution and people management responsibilities for a team of IT professionals. The successful candidate will be accountable for all day-to-day activities for the Systems Administration Team - ensuring that the Lockheed Martin Networks and IT systems are managed, controlled, and compliant with LM policies and procedures.
Responsibility includes staff management and execution of activities related to Systems Administration support to the Space Business and include:
• Providing direct management and supervision of a team of 10-12 Lockheed Martin technical staff.
• Coordination with Customers to meet program needs..
• Coordination of server, storage, and environment needs for including attending staff meetings, understanding and acting on IT strategies, identifying staff resources. Assist in workload prioritization, scheduling and escalating IT Administration Services tasks.
• Management of cost, schedule, technical and risk.
• Coordination of staffing, hiring, resource prioritization and labor planning to ensure appropriate skill and experience to support program commitments.
• Responsible for Performance Management, Promotions, Talent Planning, Training and Development activities for direct staff.
• Establish metrics to measure performance against commitments and establish business rhythms to present to senior leadership.
• Organize and conduct service status reviews, team meetings and activities according to established business rhythms (I.E. Weekly Activity Reports, SitReps, Monthly Operating Reviews, etc.).
• Continually seeks and implements improvements that reduce cycle time, improve productivity, increase availability and reduce overall costs.
The position requires 24 X 7 support for break/fix oversight or critical task support.
Requires US citizenship to access facility; Secret Clearance Required
Basic Qualifications:
• Active DoD Final Secret clearance; US Citizenship required for access to the work location
• Experience leading multi-discipline IT Systems Administration teams
• Experience with customer service
• Experience with effective project management
• Experience with managing conflicting priorities/projects and assignments
Desired Skills:
• Active Top Secret or Secret DoD security clearance (with 5-year investigation)
• Experiences with leading IT Systems Administration, Storage/Backup Administration, and High Performance Computing Teams.
• Knowledge of Cost Account Management concepts including the ability to effectively communicate with Senior Management, Directors and VP's and technical leadership
• Knowledge of operating systems life cycle management and configuration management (Print Management, Account Management, System Imaging, Hardware Modernization, Performance Monitoring, etc.)
• Knowledge of Server Administration responsibilities and proven experience
• Knowledge of Agile Framework and/or Related DevOps Methodologies
• Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. Security+, CASP, CISSP, etc.)
• Project Management or Agile Certifications
• Knowledge of Industry standard Service Level Agreements and Performance Metrics
• Experience with daily incident management system(s)
• Experience with Full Spectrum Leadership and Community of Excellence leadership

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
