Description:What We are Doing
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Supervisor, responsible for overseeing the flow of materials to and from our GXO facility. The goal of this role is to ensure the efficient and timely movement of materials, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. As a Supervisor, you will play a critical role in leading our team and driving business process improvements.
The Work
The Supervisor will be responsible for:
• Supervising the flow of material to and from GXO, ensuring proper handling and timely movement of material to/from customers
• Identifying and prioritizing workload and manpower as it fluctuates daily, making adjustments as needed to ensure efficient operations
• Overseeing the Sickbay area and the receipt of both production and non-production material from suppliers, ensuring accurate and timely processing
• Managing the processing and record-keeping of Unqualified material, working closely with the Quality team to resolve issues
• Collaborating with outside carriers and suppliers as needed, building strong relationships to drive business results
• Working closely with the Quality, Global Logistics, and Purchasing Teams on a daily basis to resolve issues and drive process improvements
• Enforcing safety procedures and company policies, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees
• Updating and adhering to work procedures, promoting digital transformation and employee engagement to drive business results
• Working weekend duty as needed, ensuring continuous operations and customer satisfaction

Basic Qualifications:
- SAP knowledge related to receiving, inventory and warehouse transactions
- Knowledge of the Unqualified parts process
- Able to multitask, work closely with the Union and bargaining members to maintain harmony among workers and resolve grievances
- Experience in a fast paced environment
Detailed and organized
Desired Skills:
- Microsoft software
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiar with Global Logistics and Transportation processes
- Able to create and develop reports and ad-hoc projects

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
