Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineer

Description:Provide functional organization support relative to electromagnetic design and verification for major aircraft programs. Develop system/sub-system requirements flow down in support of system engineering. Interface with sub-contractors and the customer. Support and conduct design reviews. Support design activities including schematic and wiring diagram reviews (harness treatments), airframe design and equipment installation drawing reviews (electrical bonding). Conduct and support trade studies. Develop Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) control plans. Conduct E3 analysis and testing as required. Support supplier EMI qualification testing. Develop aircraft level test plans and reports. Conduct or support aircraft E3 testing. Provide developmental/production aircraft support for E3 issues. Light to modest travel required.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be self-motivated and able to work with multiple product teams to develop detailed design and verification criteria for complex aircraft relative to all aspects of the electromagnetic environment. Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
