Description:The VH-92A Presidential Helicopter Replacement Program recently achieved Milestone C which is the approval to proceed with Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP). While the initial development contract will remain open until late-2020 the team will be transitioning to a production environment with the LRIP contract award this summer.

The Supportability Deputy Assistant Program Manager (DAPM) reports to the VH-92A Supportability Program Manager and has responsibility for execution of the work in support of the overall program initiatives. Perform program management related activities in support of executing requirements relating to milestones and contractual deliveries including metric development, administration, best practice implementation and executive presentation development. The DAPM will work with the Technical Lead and Control Account Managers/Work Package Manager and the PP&C analyst to mitigate schedule variance, including development of accurate projections. The DAPM works closely with Finance and PP&C to provide detailed analysis in support of program decisions, change request processing, DCMA surveillance and weekly execution meetings. The DAPM will support the APM with management responsibility for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of the Supportability IPT along with establishing milestones and monitoring of performance for all key metrics in support of successful contract execution. Leads coordination with matrix organization to support competing production and test priorities. Drives mitigation efforts as required to reduce overall program cost and schedule. Provides supporting leadership for issue resolution, planning and execution of modification periods. Coordinates the preparation of assigned proposals, business plans, statements of work and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms and conditions in support of the VH-92A business office.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

Proficient in MS suite of tools.

• Demonstrated experience with program management tools and processes including Earned Value Management.
• Experience and familiarity with the government acquisition process.
• Strong business acumen and an understanding of how programs support overall business strategy.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Understanding of scheduling and earned value software.
