Description:The Sikorsky line of business within Rotary and Mission Systems is looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic individual to perform as a contracts negotiator in support of Sikorsky's portfolio of contracts for Future Vertical Lift (FVL) programs, including but not limited to the Army's mission systems and advanced teaming programs as well as the Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft (FARA) and Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) programs.

We are currently building the FVL team as our workload continues to grow. This will be a high visibility role on a very-high priority set of programs.

The buying commands are using a variety of non-procurement contracts, so the candidate must be comfortable with OTAs, TIAs, and other non-FAR/DFARS based agreements. This position will support the programs in implementing contracting strategies that support Company and Customer objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in Federal Government contract administration and negotiations, program management, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Federal procurement regulations.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to effectively interact at all levels within the organization and with external customers.
• Ability to obtain Secret-level security clearance
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
Desired Skills:
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• All aspects of contract administration including proposal support and negotiation, post- award contract administration, scope management, interface with key subcontractors and contract closeout. Providing guidance to Sikorsky programmatic and technical staff regarding contract interpretation issues, contract scope issues, and other contract- related matters.
• Review and evaluate customer requests for proposal or revisions to contracts; provides inputs to contracts and program leadership to inform risk assessments by identifying risk areas and offering potential mitigation approaches; evaluates and coordinates proposals; investigates and reconciles standard contract changes involving cost, specifications, schedules, etc.
• Building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external customers, including US Government contract specialists and the DCMA administrative contracting officers.
• Support efforts to ensure preparation and execution of timely and accurate contract delivery documentation.
