Description:Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (a Lockheed Martin Company) is a world leader in the design and manufacture of advanced helicopters for commercial, industrial and military uses. Sikorsky helicopters are used by all five branches of the United States armed forces, along with military services and commercial operators in more than 40 nations. Sikorsky is based in Stratford, Connecticut, USA. We are currently seeking a Software Engineer with 0–5 years of experience designing implementing and maintaining software solutions for avionics systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for small projects or multiple tasks within the functional discipline and  will make significant contribution to their team by applying their knowledge of the discipline. The Software Engineer works with moderate guidance on projects with short-term focus and has a solid understanding of the fundamentals of the discipline and role while continuing to develop specialized knowledge.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of C/C++ with ability to adapt and learn other programming languages quickly- Knowledge of Operating Systems and Debug Environments and other software tools.- Software Modeling and Database Modeling skills.- Knowledge of Software Life Cycle process

Minimum 3.0 GPA.
