As the Maintenance Support Manager, you will be responsible for the schedule and technical performance of Lockheed Martin Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific (SWFPAC) Support Equipment Operations, which includes Shop Floor Operations, Production Control, Scheduling, Configuration Management, Lightning Protection & Grounding, and the management of the Operator Verification (OV) Program. Additionally, you will oversee the preventative maintenance and repair of equipment, which includes, kneel down transporters, side loaders, facility transporters, M9 tractors, EEPOT trailers, and missile service unit trailers.

This position will also be responsible for ensuring fleet and production milestones are accomplished on schedule and that the organization performance is managed within budget. In this role, you will coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessments, work assignments, and recognition/disciplinary actions for both salaried and hourly represented employees.

Other responsibilities include:
-Develop staffing plans, coordinate travel and cross-training requirements.
-Ensure safety, security, high work ethics and a teaming environment within the organization.
-Participate in the preparation of proposals, business plans and operating budgets.
-Develop and present program information to Sr. Management on an as needed basis.
-Collaborate with other organizations including internal Lockheed Martin management and personnel, local and SSP Government Representatives, Associate Contractors at SWFPAC and other Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) sites.
-Negotiate Industrial Support Requirements Plan (ISRP) commitments with local Government personnel.
-Foster an environment where the diverse talents and perspectives of our people power innovative solutions for our customers and drives business success.
-Lead the operation of facilities, including Maintenance Support Building, Equipment Maintenance Building, Covered Storage Area and the Tensioned Fabric Paint Structure.
-Drive focus toward continuous process improvement, corrective action and expeditious implementation of robust, relevant corrective action plans.
Basic Qualifications:
- Demonstration of Lockheed Martin's Full Spectrum Leadership qualities.
- Must have 5-10 years of experience in Facility Operations or other related discipline (e.g. Support Equipment / vehicle maintenance and repair).
- 5 years of demonstrated leadership experience either in a managerial or team lead role.
- 3+ years of experience managing schedules and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to meet mission objectives.
- Prior experience in leading both exempt (salary) and non-exempt (hourly) employees.
- Prior experience collaborating with other organizations to achieve goals and solve problems.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Advanced problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a final Secret security clearance. Cannot be a dual citizen. Interim Secret clearance required prior to start.
Desired Skills:
- Completed Bachelor's degree or higher-level degree.
- Fleet Ballistic Missile program experience
- Ability to create, collect and analyze production metrics in order to make adequate data-based decisions towards efficiency and safety.
- Understanding of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and relevant experience leading union represented hourly employees.
- Familiar with Item Maintenance Assistance Program (IMAP) and Strategic Systems Programs Technical Document Repository (SPTDR).
- Familiar with Qual/Cert Checklist Training (QCT) program.
- Proactively support continuous improvement in the areas of technical competencies, talent, behaviors, cost and performance.
- Black belt / Green belt certified.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $106,100 - $187,105. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
