Join our Strategic and Missile Defense team. We are seeking and Administrative Assistant in Silverdale, Washington .

In this dynamic role you will perform a variety of administrative functions for management and department personnel such as:

• Set up and maintain alphabetical, numerical/subject files
• Receive calls and making proper referrals
• Pick up and distribute mail
• Compose reports, presentations, and finished documents ensuring appropriate grammatical usage
• Answer questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures.
• Perform training coordinator function for department.
• Monitor and report employee training status and enroll employees in classes.
• Maintain travel spreadsheet and assists in travel arrangements and expense reports.
• Monitor and update overtime distribution records and KARDEX.
• Monitor office and first aid supplies and submit requests for replenishment.
• Coordinate and schedule conferences and meetings including rooms, refreshments, announcements and audio/video and other equipment and services such as VTC and NetMeeting arrangements as needed.
• Provide back-up support to the Resident Director office as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Exercise appropriate interpersonal skills in interacting with employees and customers.

Basic Qualifications:
• A minimum of 3 years previous experience successfully supporting executive level management.
• Familiarity with formal correspondence processing and procedures.
• Demonstrated advanced computer skills/proficiency with MS Office, SharePoint, Skype, Video Teleconferencing and other productivity software
• Proficiency in managing multiple schedules and monitoring calendars to ensure critical prioritization is maintained.
• Have proficiency with travel, expense reconciliation and reporting
US citizenship is required for this role. Cannot be a dual citizen. Interim Secret Clearance required prior to start.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
• 5 plus years of previous experience successfully supporting executive level management.
• Familiarity with Public Affairs and Protocol
• Must possess effective communications and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate professionalism, good judgement, discretion and high degree of confidentiality and executive presence.
• Demonstrate organizational and problem solving skills using initiative and discretion.
• Be a self-starter possessing excellent organizational skills, attentive to detail and exhibit a professional demeanor.
•Have the desire and ability to collaborate with outside consultants, customers and corporate executives as needed.
