THE WORK
This is an Expat Technical Service Representative (TSR) Position – MH‑60R Air Vehicle Technician supporting the Norwegian Royal Air Force Air Force’s MH‑60R fleet in Bardufoss, Norway. TSR will perform routine organizational‑level maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of airframe, electrical, and powerplant system components. The TSR will conduct post‑flight inspections, document and correct aircraft discrepancies, and carry out daily checks while the helicopter remains in flight status. Responsibilities include disassembling, adjusting, and reinstalling major components such as landing gear, rotor heads, gearboxes, and engines in strict accordance with technical orders and safety standards; maintaining helicopters in ready‑to‑fly condition by servicing engine accessories, hydraulic, electrical, lubrication, oil, fuel systems; following standard checklists for fueling, lubricating, and pressurizing aircraft; and mounting, tracking, and balancing rotor blades and heads. In addition, the TSR will lead organizational repairs that require signature authority, ensuring compliance with both U.S. Navy and Royal Norwegian Air Force maintenance policies, complete and sign off all maintenance actions in the aircraft’s logbooks and electronic maintenance system, and provide technical guidance to flight crews and junior personnel. Coordination with RNoAF maintenance leadership, logistics teams, and U.S. Navy representatives is essential for parts, tooling, and technical data support. The position requires a minimum of five years recent experience as an authorized MH‑60R maintainer with signature rights, as well as certification of completion of a U.S. Navy MH‑60R Type Course for Air Vehicle Systems. Candidates must possess the ability to obtain required U.S. and Norwegian security clearances, meet physical requirements for aircraft maintenance work, and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Norwegian language proficiency is a plus). Preferred qualifications include prior support of foreign military operators, additional certifications such as an FAA A&P license or EMAR MAML License. The role involves work in hangars, maintenance bays, and outdoor environments, exposure to noise and hazardous materials, and may require on‑call duty to support flight operations. Basic Qualifications:
-FAA A&P License
-Minimum 5 Years maintenance experience related to the MH-60R aircraft.
-Candidate must be capable of obtaining/maintaining a valid U.S. passport.
-Candidate must possess and be capable of maintaining a -Secret Level security clearance.
-Candidate must be willing to travel in support of customer requirements. US Citizenship is required.
Desired Skills:
Master Training Specialist certification, US Military Quality/Production Control experience.
US Navy Safe for Flight qualification.
EMAR MAML License

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
