Fleet Engineering Lead

Description:The Canadian Maritime Helicopter Program (CMHP) is seeking a highly motivated individual to provide customer engineering interface for the In Service Support (ISS) CMHP Fleet as required under the ISS Statement of Work (SOW).

The candidate will work closely with ISS engineering in the coordination/management of all activities related to technical problems on fielded aircraft producing measurable results in aircraft availability flight hours. He/she will act as the liaison to our customer for all associated tasks including but not limited to: project planning, execution, technical coordination and downstream impact assessment.

He/she will interface directly with representatives of the Department of National Defense (DND) Weapon Systems Manager (WSM), the Contractor Management Office (CMO), Contractor Field Office (CFO), 12 Wing representatives, Sikorsky technical publications, logistics support and CMHP engineering IPTs in a cross-functional team fashion to assist in developing sustainment initiatives that will improve overall program profitability.

Potential for up to 10% travel to Canada
Basic Qualifications:
B.S. from an accredited college in Engineering, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

USG security clearance or ability to attain one is required
Desired Skills:
Experience/Qualifications: 4+ years directly supporting fleet activities, experience managing projects, demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Candidate must be capable of multi-tasking and working in a high pace dynamic environment. Must be capable of building strong customer relationships and demonstrate analytical skills as well as oral and written communication skills. Project/program/fleet management experience is highly desirable.

Maritime helicopter program experience is a plus
